Career Decision: a Problem of Plenty? a Choice Overload?
How do you decide the right career move? There is no one-size-fits-all answer to the 'what’s the right career move for me' question..
The key is to first take time to understand your own priorities. That is, focus on knowing yourself.
Most people don’t do that.
But, gaining clarity on what you are good at and what drives you is the only way to cut through the noise.
Once you do this, you will have a simple but powerful framework to identify which career move suits you best.
Last thing. Please don’t go by what others are doing because everyone has different skills and priorities. You are not them and they are not you. There's a reason for that.
Gaining self-reflection is quite underrated. It takes some time but provides much more clarity and fulfilment in the long run.

I faced similar crossroads a few years back, and what helped me immensely were mentor talks.
I identified 2-3 people in each path I was interested in and took them for coffee. Talking to someone already in the shoes I wanted to wear brought a lot of clarity.
